Dr. KRK Reddy obtained M. Sc. and Ph. D. in Plant Sciences from Kakatiya University, Warangal, India and Post-Doctoral training in Plant Biotechnology from Central University of Hyderabad, India and University of Bayreuth, Germany. Dr. Reddy started Sri Biotech Laboratories at Hyderabad, Telangana State, India during 1994 with a focus to develop safe and green alternatives to Agro-chemicals for crop nutrition and protection. The in-house R & D of the company is well recognized by national and international research institutions. The focus of the research was the isolation and characterization of microbes associated with abiotic and biotic stress of the crop plants followed by product development. This led to development of novel delivery systems which can go hand in hand with farmer’s regular practices. Under his leadership, the company has received several National and International grants to establish collaborative research under public-private partnership in Plant Biotechnology. Dr. Reddy guided several post-graduate and Doctoral students and filed seven patents. Member of several national and international societies, board of studies and served in biotech committees includes Osmania University, Kakatiya University, Yogi Vemana University, Nagarjuna University and Padmavathi Mahila University in India. Served the Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India as a member of task force on Biofertilizers and Biopesticides. Currently, he is the President, Bio-agri Input Producers Association (BIPA), member of FICCI-Telangana State sub-committee on Agriculture and Food Processing and CII-Telangana State task force on Agriculture. Received several International, National and State level awards such as Best R&D, Best MSME, Best Innovation, Best Industry from Honourable Presidents of India for his contributions in research, innovations, product development with special reference to bio intensive integrated crop management to improve agricultural productivity. Valagro S.p.A, an Italian Global Leader in commercialization of biostimulants and specialty nutrients acquired a majority stake of Sri Biotech Laboratories, since, Sri Bio’s has been recognized for its contribution to the development of environmentally sustainable, biological alternatives for pest, weed and disease control in agriculture. Currently, Dr. Reddy is heading Sri Bioaesthetics Pvt. Ltd., in Hyderabad, Telangana State, India which is involved in crop Microbiome Research and Product Development to address the current problems of agricultural crops and their sustainable development. Serving an International Advisory Board Member and Vice President-industries of Asian PGPR Society for Sustainable Agriculture since its inception.

He is currently the Managing Director of Varsha Bioscience and Technology India Pvt Ltd., an agri-biotech company that manufactures innovative research products of agriculture/ environmental importance.
Dr. Peter is an Executive member at Prof. TN Anantha Krishnan Foundation, Vice President BIPA and Chairman at Prof. TNA Innovation Centre, a Government of India recognized R&D. Mr. Praharaju Laxminarayana has 4 decades of rich experience in the field of biotechnological approaches on Integrated Pest Management, innovative agri-based product promotion and marketing. He worked on sustainable, ecofriendly agriculture products and being pioneer in establishing pheromone technology, promotion of novel concepts, training, and field activities with special emphasis to bioherbicide, Bts & NPV in India. He held various senior positions in companies like M/s Rallis India Limited & M/s Montari Industries Limited, M/s Ecomax Agro Systems Ltd, and promoted novel science-based Bio-Pesticides, Agrochemicals and Agro Inputs. He was also an Independent Director on board of State Bank of Hyderabad. He has been a members of various organizations like Life Member Administrative Staff College, Hyderabad, Regional Vice President (South), All India Federation of Organic Farming (IFFOF), Vice President, South Asian Society for Promotion of Pheromone Technology (SASSAPT) Bangalore, Chairman, Bio-Pesticides Research Consortium, ICRISAT, Hyderabad and Life Member of Indian Science Congress. He has been a business associate for several National and International leaders in Agricultural and Public health Biological products and member Business advisory board to ATGC Biotech Pvt. Ltd. for development and promotion of pheromones for mating disruption.
With his vast experience, he established AG Bio Systems in the year 1997, purely a manufacture and marketing of sustainable agriculture products and received several awards for his contribution to insect pest management using semiochemicals and bioherbicides for weed control. He has been recipient of various prestigious awards and recognitions like Global awards from World Bio Pesticides Awards 2019, Swansea University, UK, Telangana State Industry Awards 2019.
He is granted 3 International patents for his work on Bio herbicides development from USA, Japan and Australia. 21 National and International patents are in process for the work on bioherbicide products, which are highly specific, first time in the world, for control of Weeds like Parthenium, Lantana and Water hyacinth.
